December 2010 News

Greetings,
As I enter this holiday season, I'm filled with deep gratitude for the incredible year I've had. I'm a compulsive list-maker, so for this last newsletter of the year I pulled together a list of shows, publications, and other milestones from 2010. This list though does not adequately depict a year filled with strange and wonderful new experiences (like getting licked on the face by a 17-year old wolf!). I spent many weeks on the road this year shooting new work and attending portfolio reviews, art fairs, and openings. I feel very fortunate to have had these opportunities and I appreciate the support and encouragement you have provided me along the way.
I'm also writing to share with you exciting news about an upcoming solo show at the Corden|Potts Gallery in San Francisco and to tell you about my Holiday Print Sale. Also, if you're in Houston on Saturday, please join me at the John Cleary Gallery for the opening of their annual holiday show from 6-8 PM. My work is also still on exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and at the Houston Arts Alliance Gallery. For details, see below.
Finally, I am planning on being in LA during the week of January 10th. I will be shooting new images for my elderly animals project and I'm also planning on attending Photo LA. Please drop me an e-mail if you will be in the area as well; I'd love to see you.
I wish you and your family a joyous holiday season. Thanks for reading. I look forward to hearing from you.
Warm Regards, Isa

Holiday Print Sale
To celebrate the holidays, I have released a new affordable small print edition from my Thrills & Chills series. The new offering is an archival pigment print of "Coaster at Dusk, Hershey Park, PA" (see above) that is printed in a limited edition of 100. The print has an image size of 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches and a paper size of 5 x 5 inches and is $50, plus shipping. Each print in the edition is signed and numbered verso (on the back).
You can purchase the print through my online store. (This print is also offered as part of the fabulous Fraction Magazine Holiday Print Sale and was recently featured on Chase Jarvis' blog.) Also in my online store, you can purchase copies of my Thrills & Chills exhibition catalog and prints from my small print edition of "The Wave".
Larger fine art prints from my Thrills & Chills series and from my Elderly Animals series can be purchased exclusively through the John Cleary Gallery and the Corden|Potts Gallery.

Elderly Animals Project Updates I am still researching and photographing subjects for my Elderly Animals series and recently returned from New Mexico where I visited the Kindred Spirits Animal Sanctuary. This month will be spent editing and printing new images from this series. I hope to have new work to share with you in my next newsletter.
