April 2010 News
|
Greetings,
I am very happy to announce that my first solo exhibition of "Thrills & Chills" has opened at the Griffin Museum of Photography
and will be on display through May 9th. I will be giving an artist talk
at 6 PM on Thursday, April 15th. Immediately following the talk, there
will be an opening reception for my show and for the "Flash Forward
2009" exhibition (which also will be up through May 9th). I hope to see you there!
This opening concludes a truly dizzying six weeks that was filled with events relating to the AIPAD Show and Fotofest. My Fotofest portfolio reviews went well and I have a few exciting developments from these meetings which I am eager to share with you when the time is right....
Over these last several weeks, I enjoyed reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. I also had the privilege of selling several pieces at the AIPAD show and at the Fotofest Open Portfolio Walk. Many of you also have written me asking me to reserve a copy of my forthcoming catalog. I feel deeply honored by and grateful for your friendship and support for my work.
I hope you are all doing well and I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks for reading!
Warm Regards, Isa

Thrills & Chills Catalog + Special Print Offer
I have produced a catalog to accompany my exhibit at the Griffin Museum. Copies will be available for sale exclusively through the Griffin Museum Gift Shop beginning on Thursday, April 15th. I will also be selling them on my web site beginning May 3rd. The online sales date was delayed by a few weeks because I rejected the first printing of the catalogs due to print quality issues. Fortunately, the printer agreed to reprint the catalogs. I'm very happy with the end result and I hope you will be too.
In addition, I have produced a signed, limited edition archival pigment print of "The Wave"
that will also be sold through the Griffin Museum and on my web
site (on May 3rd). The unmatted print has an image size of 4.5 x 4.5
inches and a paper size of 5.5 x 5.5 inches. All prints will be signed
verso (on the back). Edition size: 100.
Pricing info:
Catalog: $19
Archival Pigment Print: $50
Catalog + Print Purchased Together: $60
* Shipping & Handling not included.
If you would like to be notified when online purchasing is available, please send me an e-mail.

of the Books Program at Aperture. Center has published the selection
committee's statements on their web site, which you can read here.
I also was accepted into the Project 5 Portfolio Review Eventwhich will take place in Manhattan this Sunday, April 11. Project 5 is a collaboration between Amador Gallery, ClampArt, Daniel Cooney Fine Art, Foley Gallery, and Sasha Wolf Gallery. I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to meeting these esteemed gallerists.
