Dear Friends,
I am hitting the road this month to photograph amusement parks along the east coast. Although I won't be traveling anywhere near the Southwest, I always think of this image when embarking on a road trip. Sadly, I won't find any twists and turns along Route 95. But there will be plenty of roller coasters in the coming weeks....
Before leaving, I wanted to share some recent press I've received and invite you to see my work in a few current shows. I've also listed below links to finding me elsewhere online, including on Facebook® and Twitter®. I'm using both services to share photography-related news, calls for submission, and noteworthy blog articles and images from my virtual travels. I'm trying to minimize the overlap in content between Facebook® and Twitter®, so both are worth checking out.

Four Corners Dark
Last week my work was featured on the Four Corners Dark blog. The article
includes several of my images and a discussion of why I enjoy working
with toy cameras. In my comments, I explore the connection between punk
music and toy camera photography and the paradox of being a
perfectionist who creates beautifully imperfect images.

In May, I juried an amateur photography contest for Boston.com's RAW photography online community. My work was featured on the site. In addition, they published my comments relating to my jurying process as well as my thoughts relating to the three award-winning images.

Boston Drawing Project
Prints
from my Thrills and Chills series have been accepted into the Boston Drawing Project at the Carroll and Sons Art Gallery in Boston, MA. The gallery, located at 450 Harrison Avenue, is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM.
One
of my prints will be on display at the gallery during the months of June

Susan Maasch Fine Art Images from my "Waterscapes" series are on display at Susan Maasch Fine Art in Portland Maine for their exhibit "Dux Femina Facti: A Woman Is In Charge." Note the new gallery address: 567 Congress Street. First Friday reception: June 5th, 5-9 PM.

Danforth Museum of Art
"The Claw, Topsfield Fair, MA" will be on exhibit during June and July at the Danforth Museum of Art in Framingham, MA for the "Community of Artists Juried Exhibition." Opening Reception: June 3 from 6-8 PM.
