Lord and Savior!
Before the church season reaches full swing in September, I urge you to be deliberate about taking time this month for self-care. It warrants repeating that those in ministry can
be so concerned for the needs of others that we neglect
our own needs. Ultimately, we can't help anyone else if we, ourselves, become burned out or ill. Know that American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) is always here
to support you. And, as noted below, our Workshops for Church Life and Leadership are available at no cost to aid
in your ministry.
