The recent ABCUSA 2011 Biennial in Puerto Rico provided a great opportunity for conference goers to learn about the ABHMS mission, meet ABHMS staff and participate in hands-on home-mission projects. If you attended, I hope that your schedule permitted interaction with ABHMS.

 Immerse, the gathering of American Baptist Youth planned for July 24-28, 2012, in Washington, D.C., was introduced with a video and display at the recent ABCUSA Biennial in Puerto Rico.

Biennial offers opportunities for engaging in missions |
 At the recent ABCUSA Biennial in Puerto Rico, volunteers built an outdoor worship facility, distributed clothing to and fed the homeless, assembled school and hygiene kits, and cleaned a safe-haven home. |

 Volunteers are needed to repair and paint homes and lay sheet rock during "Here Until the Work is Done V" ecumenical work week July 31-Aug. 6, 2011, in New Orleans.
