Nominations sought for biennial awards
Biennial 2010 LogoOct. 15, 2010, is the deadline to nominate Baptist individuals, congregations, and organizations for exceptional faithfulness in ministry awards to be presented in 2011. Awards include efforts of excellence promoting evangelism, urban ministry, local Christian education and more. Submit nominations online.

Transforming New Orleans through Ecumenical Work Week
Ecumenical Work Week August 2010Last month 104 American Baptists volunteered during Ecumenical Work Week in New Orleans. Projects included gutting a house; installing sheet rock; cutting grass and bushes; clearing lots; organizing books and preparing two charter schools for opening day; cleaning a cemetery; and restoring city wetlands. Well done, good and faithful servants! Listen to their stories and see their work.
