Greetings!
Thank you for attending last week's Personal Leadership "Pilgrimage" Workshop at the ISPI Conference in Toronto! It was a pleasure meeting and working with you. Pilgrims believed that through their sacrifice in journeying to distant lands, they would gain new insights and knowledge that would improve their lives. I am hopeful that our short time together was the beginning of a life-long personal "pilgrimage" that helps you to: - Identify and Anchor to your Core Values
- Create a Personal and Career Guiding Compass
- Gain and Maintain Focus on What is Important
- Plan an Effective Course in achieving your aspirations
- Adapt and Persevere to overcome obstacles
- Become Servant Leader
- Communicate to motivate and inspire
- Celebrate small and large victories
The personalized "credential" you created during the workshop is meant to be a reminder of these important lessons. I will send it out to you shortly under a separate email. Place it somewhere where you can see it daily. Remember (paraphrasing Gandhi): If you have the belief that you can do it, you shall surely acquire the capacity to do it, even if' you may not have it today! Only by developing the discipline to focus on your aspirations (compass) while staying securely anchored to your values will you overcome the obstacles that are, or may get, in your way of achieving your full potential! I am hopeful that our "pilgrimage" together has helped you rediscover your full potential and will help you to embark on your lifelong journey of self discovery, service and achievement! It would be a pleasure to share this workshop with your organization, network, teams, associates, community groups, etc. Please return an email with a referral of a group or individual who may be interested in completing the workshop. As they say on the Way of St. James: "Buen Camino" or Good Journey! |
