PARASITES
LOOKING FOR A FREE LUNCH!

Catchy headline, would you agree? Actually, this was the real headline in the October, 1977, issue of National Geographic. The article, Parasites-Looking for a Free Lunch, displayed many disgusting pictures of parasites and alarming stories. The article was a real eye-opener for me!
My stomach got queazy while staring at the pictures of the broad fish tapeworm and other internal predators. One caption said: "Enemy within, the broad fish tapeworm may grow to 35 ft. in length and live ten years in a person's intestine. Each mature segment comes complete with male and female sex organs resembling Japanese characters.
"A tapeworm spends its entire life in the intestines. ... Its head, or scolex, has specialized structures--suckers, hooks, and spines-to latch onto the intestinal wall. ... Roundworms can produce 200,000 eggs in a day; some tapeworms as many as a million. ..."Hookworms, little leechlike vampires of the intestinal tract, suck the blood of a billion people a year and kill perhaps 100,000" (National Geographic, Oct 1997, VOL. 192, NO. 4).
When I first read this article, I thought, "Enough is enough," and started my quest into natural and herbal medicine. I started reading herb books and attending lectures and weekend health programs on the subject to learn as much as possible about cleansing the elimination organs of the body, especially the colon. Black walnut, wormwood, garlic, bentonite clay, and psyllium husks became my best friends overnight, and I set out to enlighten the world about the power of colon cleansing and natural anti-parasitic herbs. Cleansing the colon isn't an option when it comes to healing the body, it is a MUST, and often the first step I now recommend to people! We are a NATION OF CONSTIPATION! Sad to say, not everyone is open to discussing the subject.
I worked hard designing and concocting Modern Manna's herbal formulas and Super Cleansing kits with our exclusive, custom Paratox formula that kills not only the worms, but the eggs or larvae as well. Boy, did I learn from the testimonies and the evidence people found in the toilets while taking Bowel Formula #1, Bowel Formula #2, and Paratox, that herbs are powerful parasite-killers! Not only were some of them passing worms, they started healing as well! Was the old adage true after all that DEATH BEGINS IN THE COLON? People began feeling alive for the first time in years, and those hard-to-lose pounds dropped off easily as their bodies balanced and cleansed from impurities and toxic waste. Amazingly, minds cleared and smiles spanned the faces of once depressed and constipated people. How can a person feel wonderful when their colon is filled with decaying, rotting, and dehydrating feces anyway? Besides, this was a perfect breeding-ground for parasites. The little enemies bore right into the dehydrated mess and set up camp on the colon wall!
My further research revealed more startling information about parasites. Dr. Peter Wina, Chief of Pathobiology at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research stated: "We have a tremendous parasite problem right here in the U.S., it is just not being addressed." Next, I went to the CDC's (Center of Disease Control) official web site to check the statistics and was shocked! The Estimates of Current Numbers of Human Helminth Infections, just one species of parasites, ranged in the millions for developing countries. They were located in the human host in the alimentary tract, cavities, organs, and tissues, the circulatory system, and skin. Parasites are not only found in the bowel, but can be in the lungs, liver, and brain as well. In fact, one of my own employees, who was having recurring headaches for years, through a brain scan discovered two worms in her brain. National Geographic confirmed parasites invade other organs: "Blood-dwelling trematodes infect 200,000 million people sometimes causing severe disease of the gastrointestinal tract, bladder, and liver." National Geographic, Oct. 1997, p. 81.
The CDC states: "On contact with the human host, the larvae penetrate the skin and are carried through the veins to the heart and then to the lungs. They penetrate into the pulmonary alveoli, ascend the bronchial tree to the pharynx, and are swallowed. The larvae reach the small intestine. Where they reside and mature into adults. Adult worms live in the lumen of the small intestine, where they attach to the intestinal wall with resultant blood loss by the host." In other words, they can cause anemia due to blood loss. Some parasites can suck the life right out of you, as much as one milliliter of blood per worm per day!"
It is satisfying to know that thousands have used the 10-Day Detox Program with outstanding results! At BellaVita Lifestyle Center we routinely see parasites pass in as few as five days! Not everyone sees worms, but an 86-year-old Holocaust survivor sure did! He passed a 3-foot tapeworm. It probably was much longer, but that is what we saw. One young women squeamishly shared that she passed an 8-inch worm that looked like something you would see in your garden, and a staff member brought hers to work in a jar to show the guests at BellaVita. At another session, one of BellaVita's nurses reported passing five 8-inch worms. Amazing! And I thought you only see such things in the garden and on fish hooks!

HEALTH TIP OF THE WEEK
Eating pork produces scrofula, leprosy, & cancer (see Counsels on Diet and Foods, p. 393. You surely know what leprosy and cancer is, but have you heard of scrofula? It is also known as the "King's Disease," a form of tuberculosis affecting the lymph nodes, especially of the neck. Jethro Kloss in Back to Eden said HYSSOP is a remedy for scrofula. Hyssop is a very good lymphatic cleanser. I have seen swollen ankles in women reduce with hyssop, bowel cleansing & walking. "Purge me w/Hyssop & I shall be clean." Ps 51:7.
