I am writing this article from the bottom of my soul to tell you that I believe Jesus is coming very soon. We must REDEEM THE TIME, for there is much yet to be done in reaching the cities.  We have the following warnings in the Spirit of Prophecy from the book Evangelism:

Doors Now Open Shall Close: "Again and again I am instructed to present to our churches the work that should be done in our large cities. There is a great work to be done, not only where we have churches already established, but also in places where the truth has never been fully presented. Right in our midst there are heathen as verily as in far-off lands. The way must be opened to reach these with the truth for this time; and these openings should be made at once. ...

    "Often we have been told that our cities are to hear the message, but how slow we are to heed the instruction. I saw One standing on a high platform with arms extended. He turned and pointed in every direction, saying, 'A world perishing in ignorance of God's holy law, and Seventh-day Adventists are asleep.' The Lord is pleading for laborers, for there is a great work to be done. There are conversions to be made that will add to the church such as shall be saved. Men and women in the highways and byways are to be reached. ...

   "We are far behind in following the light God has given regarding the working of our large cities. The time is coming when laws will be framed that will close doors now open to the message. We need to arouse to earnest effort now, while the angels of God are waiting to give their wonderful aid to all who will labor to arouse the consciences of men and women regarding righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come." Evangelism, pp. 32, 33. Notice temperance is one of the Laws of Health.

Work While You Can: "My brethren, enter the cities while you can. In the cities that have been already entered there are many who have never heard the message of truth. Some who have heard have been converted, and some have died in the faith. There are many others who, if they were given an opportunity, might hear and accept the message of salvation. ... These, our last efforts for the work of God in the earth, must bear decidedly the impress of the divine." Ibid.

THE CALL FOR A SPEEDY WORK

No Time to Lose: "We have no time to lose. The end is near. The passage from place to place to spread the truth will soon be hedged with dangers on the right hand and on the left. Everything will be placed to obstruct the way of the Lord's messengers, so that they will not be able to do that which it is possible for them to do now. We must look our work fairly in the face, and advance as fast as possible in aggressive warfare." Ibid, p. 31

Time Is Short: The message that I am bidden to bear to our people at this time is, work the cities without delay, for time is short." Ibid, p.33.

    "Favorable Time for the Cities Passed By: A great work is to be done. I am moved by the Spirit of God to say to those engaged in the Lord's work, that the favorable time for our message to be carried to the cities has passed by, and this work has not been done. I feel a heavy burden that we shall now redeem the time. .... The work which the church has failed to do in a time of peace and prosperity, she will have to do in a terrible crisis, under most discouraging, forbidding circumstances." Ibid.

THE MESSAGE IS LOUD AND CLEAR: WARN THE CITIES BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!

   Recently, Modern Manna forged out with a most aggressive and singular evangelistic project.  Our Red Carpet screening of BellaVita - A Beautiful Life at the Historic Golden State Theatre in Monterey kicked off a health extravaganza weekend and hundreds responded. We followed up our movie debut with health lectures and raw food demos and samples at the local church. The weekend was magnanimous with 250 arriving to view the Red Carpet Screening on Friday. Sabbath services brought over 200 from all walks of life for my 11:00AM message BIBLE PROPHECY AND THE STANDARD AMERICAN DIET at the Monterey Peninsula SDA Church. We heard the church had not conducted a major evangelistic program in over two decades! We were so excited to have the largest attendance in a very long time, and most of the guests were non-SDAs!

   Following the worship hour, the church hosted a fabulous vegetarian lunch. Most of the guests stayed and mingled. After lunch, I gave my sermon THE MIND/BODY CONNECTION to agnostics, New Agers, and many Christians from other religious persuasions.  Forty people responded to the altar call and joined us in a prayer of commitment. One man from Santa Cruz was deeply touched and wept after hearing the story about my relationship with my father and how the Lord healed and used me to lead my dad to salvation. It reminded him of his own relationship with his father. Charmaine followed with a testimony of her healing journey that touched many hearts.  "Charmaine's testimony was the most moving part of the entire weekend for me. Big thanks to her for being so brave and open about her journey," one woman said.  Another non-SDA gave cards to Charmaine me.  Charmaine's read: "Be who you are and go the whole way!  I admire your courage, faith, optimism, perseverance, sharing, compassion, and forgiveness. God bless you always. My card said: "Thank you! You have a generous heart.  What an amazing amount of work and service you have done and for so many! Charmaine and you are gifted speakers and doers and you share from your hearts so naturally so that everyone can easily understand the true meaning of your works and deeds. Go Forward with renewed faith and love for others. I am so grateful that God's Divine guidance leads me to so many wonderful places and to so many awesome and inspiring beings as yourselves. You are both so valued and appreciated and loved!" 

    On Sunday, we filled the church again for my health lecture HOW TO GET WELL and Charmaine's raw food demonstrations which everyone loved.  People were so excited they did not want to leave. Praise God, we gave out 300 free copies of Ministry of Healing, many copies of Steps to Christ, and my new book, The Final Inquisition. God moved mightily!

  The post-program surveys expressed the appreciation of the attendees.  There were requests for Bible studies, as well as follow-up requests for more health programs and live food classes. Some of the evaluations read: "These three days were so enlightening and so rich with information, thank you!"  "God bless you both! You are such a blessing, and truly doing God's work!" "Outstanding!"  "Charmaine and Danny: We can affirm you have been called by God to share His Total Message for Spiritual, Physical, and Mental Health for now and eternity! Now we will too!" "Awesome presentation! Wonderful ministry. I was really blessed!"  "Thank you for taking the time to teach us and share your knowledge with us. Charmaine has her passion for Raw Cooking and Danny for the Health message. Thank you again!"  "Compelling!"  "You are a dynamic couple and have so much energy, enthusiasm, and knowledge to share. Thank you for sharing it so freely. It is so needed, especially now."  "Excellent! Could not have been better! The cooking class was excellent!"  "Amazing! You guys are so inspiring! I loved EVERYTHING on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Thank you sooooo much for your amazing dedication, heartfelt giving and sharing truly from you soul. Pure & divine knowledge for creating a true Heaven on earth. I loved everything-the Bible references and personal testimonies. There was no way I could stay away. P.S. The food was scrumptious!" May God be PRAISED!

  Oh, I almost forgot, the health leader from the largest church in Monterey wants to get us into Shoreline Community Church to share Heaven's health message.

   The health message is indeed the bridge to reach people HUNGERING for truth in our cities, as evidenced by the success of the BellaVita movie and the attendance the next two days! This model is not of our brilliance.  God has created the template, and He calls it: "The Right Arm of the Third Angel" and "The Great Entering Wedge."  We are His servants following His blueprint for success.  We claim Isaiah 60 as our hope and faith, and we see the "Forces of the Gentiles" responding to the call and coming in!  The people are to be reached, and we must respond: "Here I am Lord, send me!" 

   Modern Manna needs your help. Purchasing the marketing materials, direct mailers, flyers, posters, newspaper ads, etc. cost over $5,000.  This is such a small price to reach souls, yet we still need funds to move forward to evangelize other areas in the same way. Pastors are requesting the evangelistic effort be repeated in their cities. We are getting invitations from around the world.  Charmaine and I hope to respond to as many as we can. Next year, we are going to the Fresno Central Valley SDA Church on January 13-15; the Church of God Seventh-Day in Lodi, CA. on February 6, 9, 13, & 16; the Babylon SDA Church in New York on March 9-11; and to Bible Explorations, Terra Bella, CA. on April 6-8. We are receiving many invitations from churches in California (Ceres, Watsonville, Hollister, Santa Cruz, Visalia), other states like New York, Chicago, and Pennsylvania, and as far as London, England. Exciting times!

    Please pray for us. We prayerfully ask for you to lift up our hands as we move forward by faith to reach the cities. Besides all this, we are planning to start the medical missionary school RISEN (Remedial & Integrated School of Evangelism and Naturopathy), and BellaVegan School of Raw Cuisine at BellaVita next year.

   Friends, Jesus is longing to take His people home.  We have no time to lose to reach the souls in the cities of this world. Pray that God will motivate each one of us to hold His banner high! "The principles of health reform are found in the Word of God. The gospel of health is to be firmly linked with the ministry of the Word. It is the Lord's design that the restoring influence of health reform shall be a part of the last great efforts to proclaim the gospel message." A Call to Medical Evangelism and Health Education, "A Call to Service", P. 8.
