Personal Message
Yesterday, after listening to a radio show commentator warning the listeners that the financial collapse of this country, many believe, is a judgement from God, I was encouraged that somebody, even if it is a person who does not profess to be a Christian, was sounding a warning.
On the other hand, I have been extremely saddened by the dumb dogs that are not barking in the churches warning our people of the signs of the times.
Recently, I sat in church where there was no mention regarding the terrible times we are facing and what is about to happen in this world. It is as if the pastors and leaders of the churches are fast asleep while the enemy makes his move to deceive more souls. Hurricane Ike seems to be the only one who has raised his voice warning us...or is he?
"Satan is watching his chances to secure souls to himself and unless we have God's protection, he will break forth in violence and his angels will be set at work to do some marked mischief. The terrible tornadoes, the railroad disasters, the calamities at sea, are because of Satan's wrath. The Lord does not work a miracle to protect those who are constantly working against Himself and strengthening the power of darkness. And this is only the beginning. Their hearts will not repent because they are fully set in them to do evil and that continually. These disasters, which should make men afraid, are now regarded only by those who fear for their own personal safety and those connected with them.

Greetings!
The time is at hand! Fearful times are before us as we witness the financial chaos on Wallstreet and the devastation caused from the natural disasters which are increasing like Hurricane Ike. Now is the time to for every Christian to prepare physically and spiritually, and to get their house and family in order.
I am convicted to share prophetic information with you and to alert you to the changes you should make immediately in regards to diet and lifestyle and, most importantly, in your devotional time spent in the Word of God...especially the Books of Daniel and Revelation.
I pray the timeliness of these articles will be a blessing to you. The Scriptures are your safeguard. Daniel the Prophet said many years ago: "There shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book [of life]." Daniel 12:1. |

As It Was in the Days of Noah
Jesus gave us a prophecy many years ago that says: "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness and the cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unaware. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole Earth." Luke 21:34, 35.
Friends, many of us know the word drunkeness means an  overabundance of drink, But do you know what the word surfeiting means? It means an overabundance of food - GLUTTONY! That's right..gluttony is a major problem in this country as is evidenced by the fact that 2/3 of U. S. citizens are overweight.
Look at the picture above. There are nearly 44 teaspoons of sugar in the 44 ounce soft drink. The hot dogs are made from pig which is an animal that was to be a scavenger of the earth. It was never to be eaten and was pronounced unclean in the Bible. It doesn't sweat and harbors trichinae worms. It will eat anything... even garbage. Hot dogs even increase the chance of brain tumors in children. They are made from the leftovers of the animal...the snout, the ears, the inners, can all be in a hot dog. The Bible says we are not even to touch its dead carcass but no body thinks of this when they are frying bacon or making a ham sandwich do they? |
Trust in God and His Word Is Essential

"So long as the people of God preserve their fidelity to Him, so long as they cling by living faith to Jesus, they are under the protection of the heavenly angels, and Satan will not be permitted to exercise his hellish arts upon them to their destruction."
Satan is now more earnestly engaged in playing the game of life for souls than at any previous time; and unless we are constantly on our guard, he will establish in our hearts, pride, love of self, love of the world, and many other evil traits. He will also use every possible device to unsettle our faith in God and in the truths of His Word. If we have not a deep experience in the things of God, if we have not a thorough knowledge of His Word, we shall be beguiled to our ruin by the errors and sophistries of the enemy. False doctrines will sap the foundations of many, because they have not learned to discern truth from error. Our only safeguard against the wiles of Satan is to diligently study the Scriptures; to have an intelligent understanding of the reasons of our faith; and to faithfully perform every known duty. The indulgence of one known sin will cause weakness and darkness, and subject us to fierce temptation. Maranatha p. 95
