Remember the statement I referred to last week in 9 Testimonies, p. 11, which says: "We are living in the time of the end. The fast-fulfilling signs of the times declare that the coming of Christ is near at hand....Great changes are soon to take place in our world, and the final movements will be rapid ones."

       Friends, please hear me out. For many years I have faithfully warned you about the dangers of meat and dairy products. I warned you of the dangers of the Standard American Diet long before the news featured the Surgeon General's 712-page report that two-thirds of Americans were dying from diet related diseases. I warned you that animal products cause cancer months before the headline on the cover of Newsweek stated in bold letters, "Diet and Cancer." I also warned you about the coming plague of transmittal diseases, like Mad Cow Disease, on my radio show Healthline, weeks before Britain  announced people were becoming infected with CJD from eating tainted hamburgers from cows with BSE. I must be a faithful watchman and warn you of impending danger, because the Bible says: "If the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take [any] person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand." Ezekiel 33:6.
       Now this may startle you, but I must warn you of a most serious danger heading our way...more dangerous than Hurricane Ike or eating AIDs infected beef which is in 50% of the herds in my county. What I am about to share with you may seem hard to believe, but I challenge you to please search the Scriptures for yourself to see if these things are so before you hit the "unsubscribe" button.

       I want to begin by saying I am opposed to any leader, whether the Pope of Rome or an American President, who forces people to rest on a day that the world recognizes as a religious day such as Sunday. A person should reserve the right to follow the convictions of his or her own conscience, and rest on the day he or she recognizes as the Lord's Day, whether that day is Friday, Saturday or Sunday. It should be their religious right, and never forced.

       Next, I want to show you a prophecy in the Bible that is most revealing. Revelation 13:11, 12 says: "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed."

       Friends, did you notice that the Bible warns of a power that will force worship. Although the Pope wants to implement a law in the EU that forces all Europeans to rest on Sunday, the Bible tells of a time when the Beast will force people to worship.

       It is not difficult to see that a beast in Bible prophecy is a kingdom or political power. Daniel 7:23, which says: "The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms." History records that the four kingdoms that ruled the world were Babylon, Media Persia, Greece and Rome. Daniel further tells us that the fourth beast, the Roman Empire, had ten horns (Rome was invaded numerous times by Germanic tribes and separated into states or monarchies which is well established in history).

        Daniel continues: "I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn [were] eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things." Dan. 7:8. "Daniel further emphasizes that this "little Horn" shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time." 

       If you study Revelation 13 you will find that John builds on the prophecies of Daniel. John also describes a beast with ten horns and 10 crowns, who has the same characteristics as the little Horn in Daniel 7. "And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty [and] two months [or 1260 days or years as stated in Daniel. A day stands for a year in Bible prophecy, see Ezekiel 4:6; Num. 14:34]. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindred, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." Rev. 13:5-8. 

       One only has to study history to discover that this power that arose out of Rome, that has a man reigning as its head, who made war with the saints, who reigned supreme from 538 AD to 1798 AD, and forces worship, is a religious-political power. No other power fills the description as accurately as Pope of Rome and the Roman Catholic Church. Revelation gives another clue: "And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth." In the Bible, a woman symbolizes a church (see Jer. 6:2). This church, then, sits on the seven hills of Rome, exactly where the Vatican is located.

       Please understand that America was established on the separation of church and state and Protestantism were Christians who protested (that is where we get the name Protestant) and opposed the teachings of the Roman Catholic traditions. Traditions like purgatory, celibacy, the confessional, the Pope, a mere mortal, who reigns at the head and claims to have power over the angels and claims to have the power to change the Ten Commandments, and actually did!
       Please understand that this has nothing to do with Catholic people, whom I love, and who make up much of my own family. It also has nothing to do with whether a person is saved or not because they belong to a certain church or religious denomination. It has to do with a system that surfaced blending paganism and Christianity! It has to do with the papacy, whose leader wants to force all the people in the European Union to honor Sunday!

        Pope benedict XVI, on September 9, 2007, called for "Sunday Worship as a Necessity for All." See Sunday Worship, then on November 18,  2008, the same site reported that 'The Vatican wants a clause in EU law that would force every citizen in the European Union to rest on Sunday.' See Sunday Law. Put the two messages from the two sites together, and it is not difficult to foresee a coming Sunday Law that forces rest and worship on Sunday.

        I will never forget the first time I checked the Catechism on Catholic Doctrine, (I attended 12 years of Catholic schools and served as an altar boy), and found the Ten Commandments changed. The second commandment was expunged from the ten, which forbids image worship, and the tenth commandment, which warns against coveting your neighbor's goods and his wife, was divided into two commandments - numbers nine and ten, still making ten commandments. What audacity! Daniel was absolutely right when he warned ages before that this power would "think to change times and laws." And what law would you expect it to change? None other than The Law of God - The Ten Commandments!

      Next week, I will show you that an enforced day of rest will ultimately turn into a enforced day of worship, even in the United State of America!

Now is the time to help the sick and the suffering using God-given remedies instead of pharmaceutical drugs. Now is the time, because "The work which the church has failed to do in a time of peace and prosperity, she will have to do in a terrible crisis, under most discouraging, forbidding circumstances." Evangelism, p. 31.
