Personal Message
Friends, I need to say something that is burning in my bones and I cannot keep silent any longer. I am sickened by the muffled leaders of the church and their failure in teaching lifestyle and health principles, as if God had no standards on how we should eat and drink, especially as we prepare to meet Him
Instead of upholding the diet God originally gave to His people as recorded in Genesis 1:29, the pastors and ministers in the church are throwing candy to the children and dressing in costumes depicting junk food yummies. In my church health is rarely addressed when the leaders of the church should be holding the standard high.
I remember the time I was invited to speak in a large church in Loma Linda and I brought with me Dr. Francisco Contreras from the Oasis of Hope Hospital in Mexico as my guest.Dr. Contreras is an oncologist and surgeon whose father was responsible for saving the lives of many cancer patients using natural modalities like laetrile.
Dr. Contreras is a Methodist and devout Christian. His message, that afternoon rocked the building like a 9-point earthquake on the Richter scale. He provoked the Laodicean Church to jealousy with his words, "You use to be the head and you have become the tail." A people with great light, like every other orthodox hospital, is practicing the Babylonian system of medicine.
You could have heard an organic almond drop to the ground. I listened closely as he continued to outline true, God-given health and healing principles once recognized and practiced by that church and hospital before they yielded to the pharmaceutical drug cartels of the world and the American Medical Association!
Americans are suffering from so many diseases because they are gorging on fiberless feasts of dead flesh, high fructose corn syrup, and refined junk foods filled with additives and chemicals. Without a doubt, we have become eating machines with two-thirds of our country now FAT!!
"The gospel of health has able advocates, but their work has been made very hard because so many ministers, presidents of conferences, and others in positions of influence, have failed to give the question of health reform its proper attention. They have not recognized it in its relation to the work of the message as the right arm of the body. While very little respect has been shown to this department by many of the people, and by some of the ministers, the Lord has shown His regard for it by giving it abundant prosperity. CD 73

Greetings!
In this issue of The Elijah Prophecy, I want to show you several ways Satan seeks to destroy us and how his demons can take possession of us.
"Satan leads many to believe that God will overlook their unfaithfulness in the minor affairs of life...He will in no wise sanction or tolerate evil. All who endeavor to excuse or conceal their sins, and permit them to remain upon the books of heaven, unconfessed and unforgiven, will be overcome by Satan. The more exalted their profession and the more honorable the position which they hold, the more grievous is their course in the sight of God and the more sure the triumph of their great adversary. Those who delay a preparation for the day of God cannot obtain it in the time of trouble or at any subsequent time. The case of all such is hopeless. GC, p. 620.
The Bible says in Proverbs 28:13: "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh [them] shall have mercy." Not only must we confess our sins, but we must also forsake them. In other words, quit practicing them. Two Scriptures promises that have helped me to know that I can quit doing the things that are offensive to God are the following: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" and "Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates of the city." Phil. 4:13; Rev. 22:14.
Dear friends, the message again is to STABILIZE AND SPIRITUALIZE your lives! The Holy Spirit is impressing me to draw very close to God through increased daily prayer, Bible study, and worship. There is no time to lose! |
Demon Possession - A Real Phenomena - Part 1
The other night I was studying my Bible and read in Luke 7:21, "And in that same hour He cured many of [their] infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many [that were] blind he gave sight." I immediately noticed that Jesus had a dual job to do as he encountered the masses of people - to heal them of sickness and disease and cast out demons. We know that violating God's health laws results in sickness and disease, but how does one become possessed by a demon and should we be concerned?
First let me emphasize that we should be controlled by the Holy Spirit. "Through the agency of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 3:16; 6:19; Eph. 2:22), Christ abides in the hearts of those who, by their own free choice, will to serve Him (2 Cor. 5:14; Gal. 2:20; Col. 1:27). As, with their cooperation, He works to do His will and good pleasure (Phil. 2:13), a power from on high takes possession, bringing the natural tendencies into harmony with divine principles (Rom. 8:29; Gal:5:22, 23; 2 Thess. 2:14). Only those who thus yield control of their minds to God can, in the full sense of the word, have a 'sound mind' and enjoy true and complete mental and emotional stability. None who choose the service of God will be left to the power of Satan (MH 93; DA 38). Fortified by divine power, they become invulnerable against the assaults of Satan (DA 209, 324).
"On the other hand, all who reject or ignore truth declare their allegiance to the evil one (MH 92; DA 322, 341). Those who persistently refuse or neglect to obey the prompting of the Holy Spirit, yielding, instead to the control of Satan, develop a character that more and more closely resembles his (John 8:34, 41, 44; DA 388, 429). The conscience and the power of choice set up a pattern of conduct based on Satan's principles (see Rom. 6:12-16; DA 256). As men progressively separate themselves from the influence and control of the Holy Spirit (see Eph. 4:30) they ultimately find themselves at the devil's mercy (DA 256, 323, 324; John 6:70). Held fast by a will stronger than their own, they cannot, of themselves, escape from his evil power (MH 93). They automatically think and act as Satan bids them. Wherever Inspiration points out the cause, it declares that demon possession comes about as the result of wrong living (see DA 256). The fascinating career of earthly pleasure ends in the darkness of despair or in 'the madness of a ruined soul' (DA 256).
"The process of character formation is gradual, and there are, therefore, degrees of control or possession, whether by the Holy Spirit or by evil spirits (see Rom. 12;2). All who do not yield themselves unreservedly to the indwelling of the Spirit of God are thus, in greater or lesser degree, under the control, in the possession, of Satan (Luke 11:23; Rom. 6:12-16; 2 Peter 2:18, 19 DA 324, 341). Everything not in harmony with the will of God, every intent to injure others, every manifestation of selfishness, every attempt to foster wrong principles, is, in a certain sense of the word, evidence of a degree of demon control, or possession (see DA 246, 341). Every assent to evil results in a weaker body, a darker mind, a more debased soul (DA 341). Nevertheless, at any point in the process of character formation 'the character is revealed, not by occasional good deeds and occasional misdeeds, but by the tendency of the habitual words and acts' (SC 57, 58). The chief difference between those who respond consistently to the prompting of Satan is thus a difference of degree and not of kind, The life of Kind Saul is an outstanding example of the experience of those who submit to the control of demons." 5BC, pp. 575, 575.

Judgements In Quick Succession
"We are standing on the threshold of the crisis of the ages. In quick succession the judgments of God will follow one another, fire, and flood, and earthquake, with war and bloodshed. We are not to be surprised at this time by events both great and decisive; for the angel of mercy cannot remain much longer to shelter the impenitent. PK, p. 278.
The crisis is stealing gradually upon us. The sun shines in the heavens, passing over its usual round, and the heavens still declare the glory of God. Men are still eating and drinking, planting and building, marrying and giving in marriage. Merchants are still buying and selling. Men are jostling one against another, contending for the highest place. Pleasure lovers are still crowding to theaters, horse races, gambling hells. The highest excitement prevails, yet probation's hour is fast closing, and every case is about to be eternally decided. Satan sees that his time is short. He has set all his agencies at work that men may be deceived, deluded, occupied, and entranced until the day of probation shall be ended, and the door of mercy forever shut.
