EL PEDREGAL
Nature Lodge &
Retreat Center
This was our second full season at El Pedregal and we enjoyed
the company of many great people. And it seems that they also enjoyed their stay with us. Click on the link below to read some of the reviews that guests wrote about their stay at El Pedregal.
 NEWS AT EL PEDREGAL
Air Conditioning
In preparation for the hot
summer months, we've
installed sleek, new and quiet
air conditioners in 3 of our 5 casitas. So, come on down and enjoy the green summer season and the dramatic monsoons
with us and stay COOL!
 Art, Meditation and Yoga
This April, we did our first annual RENARTE workshop, combining
art, meditaion and yoga in such a
way to help evolve one's own pratice, creativity and
and personal growth. Everyone was a beginner in one or more
(or all!) of the acivities, so the learning curve was big! Through the guidance of the teachers and the supportive nature of the group, everyone learned new
things about each of these activities and about themselves.
This workshop was a resounding
success and we look forward to
offering more this coming season, as well as other workshops of similar kinds. El Pedregal is such a great place for small groups, workshops and retreats.
Stay tuned for more news and dates on workshops at El Pedregal.

What's new for this coming season...
Each year we strive to add new things to our repertoire and this year is no exception. Not only is out our way of continuing to explore and discover new places, and keeps things interesting and dynamic for us...but we are able to continue offering new adventures and experiences for our guests
New Birding Trips
For this coming season, we'll be offering new birding trips to Northeast Mexico, Veracruz and Chiapas. Also in the Yucatan, we are offering two distinct itineraries...a shorter one focused mainly on the endemics and a longer trip that encompasses birds, ruins, biospheres and culture. See below for our new trip schedule.
Beyond Birds...Culture, Cuisine and Crafts Trips
Another thing we are excited to offer are our 'beyond birds' trips. We have found that many people are interested in traveling with us in Mexico but are not really birdwatchers. So, with that in mind, we have decided to venture into running a few tours that will focus on Culture, Cusine and Crafts! This coming season we'll be offering a trip the Oaxaca and one to the Yucatan. Stayed tuned for more inforamtion on these trips.
After many years with the same website, we are in the process of building a new and improved Solipaso website! We are working hard to get the new site up and running by the summer. We are seeking to make the site more user friendly and full of great content and up to date information. When we are ready for the unveiling, we'll let you know!
