 AAC INSURANCE SEMINAR JUNE 13
AOMSM is cosponsoring a seminar about insurance "How to Maximize Insurance Reimbursement for Your Patients and for the Acupuncturist." The seminar is offered by the American Acupuncture Council and will be held Saturday, June 13, from 8 am - 5 pm at the Doubletree Guest Suites in Waltham.  Go to www.aomsm.org to download the seminar flyer and registration form.  AOMSM members receive a discount on the registration fee.

Offered for the first time in New England, this practical seminar will teach you everything you need to do insurance billing including codes, documentation, setting up a Superbill and more.  Every acupuncturist needs to know the correct way to file insurance claims even if you don't bill insurance directly and just give your clients receipts.  This is a great opportunity to learn from the experts and to get your questions answered.

The AOMSM ANNUAL MEETING is scheduled for Sunday May 31st from 10 am - 2 pm at the New England School of Acupuncture, 150 California Street, in Newton.

From 10 am - noon there will be an educational forum on insurance reimbursement for acupuncture with a panel talking about the advantages and disadvantages of working with insurance as well as information about legislative efforts in Massachusetts and Washington, DC to expand insurance coverage for acupuncture and ways to get involved.  A preliminary list of panelists includes Jim Moran Lic.Ac., Dr. Richard Glickman-Simon, and Richard Ruth, Lic.Ac.

A complementary lunch will be provided.  After lunch, there will be a business meeting and board of directors election.
