Roger Warner, from Baystate Wine, will join us tonight to let us taste many of his wines from the Boston Globe's Annual Plonkapalooza.

 

Don't know what Plonkapalooza is? The Boston Globe has a monthly wine article named Plonk of the Month. They define a plonk as a great wine for under $12 retail.

Every year they host a blind tasting of these wines named Plonkapalooza.  For this event, they invite a number of Boston sommeliers to blindly taste 50 of these Plonks and each pick there favorite. The 2009 Plonkapalooza was published last week.

 

The good news, we have many of these wines in our little store.
