Not the sweet, tastes like Kool-Aid stuff your mom used to drink! This is what rose is supposed to be... dry, crisp and refreshing. With tons of bright fruit and a clean finish. Like I always say, Real Men Drink Rose!
We've just received our direct import of 2008 Roses from France. So we're going to pop the corks (or unscrew the caps) and taste them. I was very impressed with the barrel samples of 2008 I tasted of these wines. One warning, what we have of these roses is all there is, they will run out!

 Bell Wine Dinner

Anthony Bell of Bell Wine Cellars will join us for an intimate five course dinner. Anthony Bell is one of my favorite winemakers in California. He was winemaker with BV for many years and has been working with the Department of Agriculture doing clonal research of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape and it's many clones. Suffice it to say, he is a wealth of knowledge. But he's also a fun guy to be around with a witty sense of humor.
