Get ready Denver!

"We keep talking about it, but I'm ready to get out there and do it!" is what I chant these days; it's that time of year that we are extremely anxious to present our final product for our guests to enjoy. The CCAF team works year-round to plan each festival, and we are thrilled that the weekend has arrived.  2011 will certainly be one of our best ever, and we can't wait for you to experience "Things you wouldn't believe..."

And speaking of year-round, be on the lookout for our next events: Telluride Festival of the Arts (August 12, 13, 14) and Cherry Creek North Food & Wine (August 20). Also during the next three months, we will look forward to the sponsorship evaluation season, as we look for ways to continually get better!

See you at the 21st Annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival, July 2, 3, 4, 2011!TerryAdams 042611

Sincerely,

What's New... Part 2

BE A PART OF ART WITH FEATURED GUEST ARTIST PHIL HANSEN

Mr. Hansen is a groundbreaking, innovative artist internationally renowned for creating public dialog with art. He will be creating a collaborative piece of artwork based upon things you wouldn't believe. He will solicit the general public for responses to this question: "Tell me about an experience that shocked you or caused disbelief." Participate in this work of art and watch him finish it LIVE at the Arts Festival! Public comments are invited, encouraged, and will remain anonymous at www.CherryArts.org/Shocking

THE NEW FILLMORE PLAZA

The 2011 Cherry Creek Arts Festival proudly presents a thrilling new take on the Janus Main Stage, now located at the fully remodeled Fillmore Plaza. Local businesses and neighborhood groups alike supported renovations to Fillmore Plaza, and CCAF looks forward to showcasing all that Fillmore Plaza has to offer. Highlights of this new festival center include shaded seating, greatly enhanced and beautified streetscapes, fresh culinary and beverage options, new activities, and more!

The home of the Arts Festival for the past twenty years has been the Cherry Creek North District. This district, Denver's most vibrant outdoor shopping experience, has just finished its twenty million dollar renovation. There are now 20 new art and garden spaces with benches, tables and chairs, elegant lighting and creative landscaping.

The Arts Festival is pleased to provide the first in the next generation of public artwork to the district known as the Public Art in Cherry Creek Program or PACC. Please forward to others that may be interested!
