Gone Diving Update
September/2010
Greetings!

Gone Diving would like to welcome you back for another great semester! As you might or might not know, Gone Diving is the official dive shop for WWU and we are offering a FREE PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course for the first 20 students who sign up at the Outdoor Center. The fun will be starting at 7:00pm on Thursday, September 30th at Carver Pool on the WWU campus. You will get a chance to try on a full scuba gear set up and then get in the pool with a certified PADI Instructor for a dive. It is a lot of fun and we encourage all who are interested to come try it out. You won't be disappointed! If you have any questions please feel free to give us a call at (360) 738-2042 and we will be happy to assist you.

PADI Open Water Scuba Courses for the Fall Semester
Thinking about becoming a certified scuba diver?
Gone Diving is once again offering a scuba diving course for the first 12 people who sign up at the Outdoor Center. The course will result in a Open Water Scuba certification that will allow you to go scuba diving any where in the world! You will also receive a Dry Suit certification, to explore the underwater world in more cooler waters. There are still a few spots available but you must register before October 2nd for the WWU Course so make sure you get down to the Outdoor Center and tell them you want to GO DIVING!!
5th Annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest

Join us for some Halloween fun under the sea on October 23rd.
A tradition for Gone Diving since we opened our doors. Every year we get more and more competitors from all over the state who come out and show there Jack-o-lantern carving prowess under the Pacific. Meeting at Rosario Beach for 9am instructions and rules. Games to begin at 10am. Must bring your own pumpkin - NOT pre-traced! If you would like to pre-order a T-shirt, we are taking orders now! This is such a fun event for both divers and non-divers
It has been a spectacular summer of diving and we are looking forward to another amazing season of diving this fall. Thank you everyone for all your support and we look forward to blowing bubbles with all of you soon. Dive safe and have a great autumn.
Sincerely,

Charlynn Sutton
