Professional Network
Directory
support the women in your club!!
Months ago we asked you to update your contact
information on Member Manager to help streamline information, getting ready to
solely use on-line registration. We are now ready for phase #2-women helping women!
A little background information Your information is currently housed in a separate SECURE site until
we merge the WSC and Member Manager sites together to make one secure database through WSC powered
by Women's Charities, Inc. Women's Charities, Inc. is our parent
organization. WCI has two charities that it empowers:
- Women's Scholarship Fund
- WSC
Under WCI's leadership, we are more than just different soccer leagues arranged for the sole purpose of playing soccer and then we go
home. We love that we have become a community of women who come together to play soccer AND in
return, take back so much more from our organization each week. We make a HUGE difference in each
others lives - finding strength through numbers. The women we meet are extraordinary and it is amazing the new friends you meet in our club and how so quickly our lives are changed because of them. We are never the same again. We are emotionally stronger, more physically fit and receive such support that others not in the WSC can only dream of. Go WSC!!!
You've asked for it!!!
Per many member's request, we are adding a Professional Network Directory
[PND] to our new secure homepage "coming soon" for WSC members only. It is password protected. Please
click link and update in Member Manager Database:
-
occupation/job
title
- employer
- contact
information
- a box to
indicate if you want to be included in the on-line PND on the
WSC website (PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO MARK THIS BOX - Yes or No)
WCI, to help WSC, will also be using the database to find
out professionally, who does/did in your past life. If we are in need of
your expertise/skill/talent, and you want to help, we may ask if we can pick
your brain and you can fill your volunteer hours at the same time. We have diverse skills and talents in our club! Who
knew the women we see weekly have lives outside of soccer! What a
great networking tool to support our own women.
When do we need the information? ASAP. The sooner you fill in the information, the sooner we can get the PND to
you! It only takes a minute to update. Thank you in advance for
doing this, and for being time sensitive. Please click on
the following link to go to Member Manager: Member Manager Database Please send an email to: Shelly Keller to find out your log in/password if you
have forgotten yours.!
THANK YOU!! Shelly Keller & Katie Oberfoell - Technical Coordinator

Over 30 and Over 40 League Reformat The Over 30 League will be reformatting come session #2 indoor.
- The current O30A will be called Over 25 Women's Premier League and will remain under the umbrella of the Over 30 League.
- Using the stats from session #1 indoor to determine placement, the current 20 B division teams will be divided up into 10 teams each - Over 30 A - top 10 B teams and Over 30 B - lower 10 B teams. The C division will stay as Over 30 C.
- At each session, the lower two O30A teams will switch with the top O30B teams. The lower B teams will switch with the top O30C teams moving forward.
When joining the O25, O30 or O40, as always, there is
a one-time $45 joining fee that is postponed for all Open players
until they reach the O25+ leagues. A kind of pay it backwards so to
speak, for women helping women in the WSC.
The current Over 40 League rec and competitive divisions will also be reformatting. All O40 teams will play each other in the O40 League of session #2 indoor to determine O40A and O40B divisions divided equally using stats at the end of session #2.
Those players who are 38 or 39 and are already playing in the O40 league at the time of the restructuring in session #3 will be grandfathered in.
When subbing, the O40 B division club subs can sub up to the O40 A division but the O40A club subs cannot sub down to the B division. Club subs can only play one game per night per league - as always club-wide.

Thanks WSC - Rummage Sale Recap From Tracy Schultz (Inferno, Phoenix and Celtic FC team)
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the WSC for helping make our Adoption Rummage Sale a huge success. My heart was warmed with the outpouring of generous contributions, support and donations we received from women in the WSC. In the end we had over 50 families donate items and many of those families were members of the WSC.
We are still waiting for our dreams of having a family to come true. As we wait, I seek comfort in knowing I belong to a league and have teammates that supports my journey to be a mom.
Words cannot express my gratitude, but I can say: thank you, thank you, thank you!! Thank you to all who donated items to our sale, lent us tables for set up and who purchased items from our the rummage sale! With your help we were able to raise almost $5,000!

Get Ready for Thanksgiving Choosing a Turkey!
Selecting the turkey is an important part of the planning process. Butterball® makes it easy with a full line of products, from frozen whole turkeys to whole breasts to fully cooked turkeys, that suit any occasion or number of guests. These useful tips from our experts will help you decide what's right for you.
To begin, think about how many people you will be serving. Are they all adults or are there children? Are they big eaters or light eaters? And will you want leftovers? Use this simple Plan Perfect Portions Calculator to determine how much turkey buy. Then decide which kind of turkey is best for your particular feast.
The decision to purchase a fresh or frozen turkey is based on your preference, but here are some general guidelines to help make your decision easier:
- Fresh turkeys need no thawing and are ready to cook.
- Fresh, non-basted Butterball turkeys are all natural.
- Frozen turkeys can be purchased weeks in advance but require several days of thawing before roasting. A quick rule of thumb is to allow 1 day for every 4 pounds of turkey.
- The breast meat of frozen Butterball turkeys has been deep basted for juiciness and additional flavor.
