Greetings from Amy in Vancouver!

Hubby Steve and I are proud to report that the food & wine scene is alive and kicking here.  When I tell people I'm head out on a trip, the usual question is 'business or pleasure?'

The answer always is YES!

We always have fun working when it is the tough job of going to wineries,

going out for dinner, and treking to every cheese & meat shop in the city!

We're absolutely serious that we didn't know nearly the extent of the rather large - and growing leaps and bounds - artisan food & wine movement taking place right here.  "BC wines" are at every table of ours this week and we have tried every cheese & meat option we can get our hands on - and they're made right here in the Vancouver area and off to the east in the

Okanagen region! 

So, we'll do the difficult work of trying new things out here...
