No matter if you call this week Spring Break or you don't,
we have so many events in store for you...

...that we figured we shouldn't wait until Monday to let you know what's going on!

We like to give you information in more than one place,
so you can also keep up with our event information on
our website calendar or on Facebook.

We have tasting events every day including
guest chefs and wine tastings!  See this week's details below...

and in case we weren't clear,

we are now allowed to do

FREE wine tastings in the store!

These tastings will be listed on our calendar and are all

FREE and open to anyone 21 years or older to enjoy.

Stop by anytime during our tasting hours

(we can't sample all the time, check our calendar first!)

and try any of the wines we have open.

You don't have to stay long, we're just providing an opportunity to

This Week's In-store Wine Tastings!

Tuesday, April 5 ~ 4-7pm

Sauvignon Blanc

In honor of spring break for "the rest of 'em" we are going to pretend it's our own warm weather climate and try some Sauvignon Blancs from a few of our favorite producers. At this tasting we will contrast Arona and Ranga Ranga, both from New Zealand but strikingly different and a French selection that shows off the varietal straight from its orginal home.

Wednesday, April 6 ~ 4-6pm

Number Nine Wines

number nine wines

Provocative & innovative are two words this winery uses to describe their wines. I couldn't agree more. If you don't stop in to taste these Spanish marvels,

you are losing out big time.

We'll even have the importer in the store to give you

the extreme lowdown on these wines!

These wines are so obviously Spanish (as they well show off their region, La Ribera del Queiles) but tend towards New World growing practices. Their line gives passion to the number 9. For many cultures throughout the world, the number 9 is said to represent the threefold nature of humanity, incorporating the mind, body, and spirit. Each of the wines possesses a unique idea or theme with its own symbolism, and when brought together with the rest of the wines, gives definition to the total concept of Numbernine.

This tasting is free and you can stop in anytime between 4-6pm to taste!

It's a Lark.

It's a lark! Well, Lark cookies anyway! A small company comprised of a mother-daughter owned team of cookie makers has graced us with their presence in the store. Not the mother&daughter just yet, but their cookies are here. Stop by for a taste of the Lark ladies' delights. We're pretty excited to be the only store in Michigan with their temptations...because they are...TEMPTING!

Stop in anytime on Friday, April 8 to try Lark cookies!

Get your Daily De-Lish on Here!

Do the Daily De-Lish! Local granola is the right thing to do. And you should do it daily because it's De-Lish!

daily delish

Molly from Daily De-Lish granola will be in the store

Saturday from

10am - 2pm

doing the sample thing.

If you're nice we'll even give you a little Fage Greek yogurt and Savannah Bee's Tupelo honey to mix it all together and your breakfast can be just like Amy's!

Other Store Notes...

dancing goat logo...We had a fantastic time here Saturday when Barbara of Dancing Goat Creamery was here sampling her local and very fresh goat cheeses!  Our plan - and hers - is to have fresh cheese here by late afternoon on Mondays.  If we get another shipment in the week, it will be late in the week IF she has any available.  Shop early!

...Patricia's Chocolates is always a hot commodity around these parts.  This week some little chocolate bunnies multiplied and made their way into the store!  Patty made mention that they had multiplied only enough for us to have a herd of our own.  Oh, did I mention that they're dark chocolate with butter toffee pieces inside?

We're stocked with these and other Easter basket treats!patty's bunny pals
