Yes, i started and ended with thanks. I felt it was appropriate to say it twice...I love Thanksgiving because it's a calm holiday at home. There aren't gifts and my family takes it 'rather' easy. I am so thankful for that and thankful for the fun things we can have for you to enjoy on Thanksgiving.
We hope you'll stop in for
 | Callie's Biscuits from South Carolina, available in 'cheese & chive' and 'country ham & cheese'
| Golden Fig's brining salts, pumpkin pie spice and sugar blends to top your baking of fall cakes and pies are well stocked! Golden Fig is one of our favorite artisan vendors from Minneapolis. Laurie small batch blends salts and sugars and various herbs into marvelous concoctions for your cooking & baking desires.
Sarah's Sea Salt's Autumnberry Blend is one of my favorites for the holidays because it's amazing on pork chops (and I love those in the fall with some butternut squash) and it has its own compound butter recipe. See my blog for the recipe!
Starting now, we have our world famous (okay, store famous) "Lurkey Turkeys" back in business! Lurkey Turkeys will lead you to the favorite wines we're pairing this year for Thanksgiving! They'll only be able to stare at you, any additional assistance you might want to aim actual questions at one of us humans.

All of our baskets are custom made for you and can be done in a jiffy - though if you have many, we can do this too, we just need a little lead time. If you have more than 10 baskets to order, let us know sooner than later so we can act quickly and have them ready when you expect them! We do deliver locally and ship as well!Check out our website for more examples of some of the gifts we've made in the past...you may have to forgive our photography on a few of the baskets, though the ones that are nice...like the one above? They were taken by dean van dis studio! Kudos!

Raclette Weekend - November 12 & 13
| |
This upcoming weekend is Rac lette weekend! Both Friday and Saturday we'll be whipping up mini batches of raclette for you! Don't know what that is?
It's actually two components we're featuring:
- Raclette is a very flavorful and melty cow's milk cheese that is traditionally from Switzerland. It's a great eating cheese on its own but also...
- There's a fun little machine (pictured on the right) that is called a raclette grill where you can feed up to 8 people using meats, veggies and other delights (like pickles, kraut, mustard, sour cream, etc.) to top your grilled, melted, ooey gooey yummy cheese and baked potato! The fun thing is that one can turn making dinner into a party with friends as the idea is everyone chooses their own delights to melt & heat and it's one great time! Seconds are a must...
We sell the cheese & the machines in the store and we also have a machine at the store to rent for your next raclette party!
