In the upcoming months, we'll try to keep your insides warm with beautiful events in the store as well as wine, beer and liquor tastings! Keep watching this spot, it's where the info will arrive! Here are a few to get you started in the flair of fall! THIS WEEKEND! TODAY! Friday & Saturday, October 29 & 30 - It's a weekend for warming your insides with Maya Kaimal's Korma. This is a refrigerated "simmer sauce" from our friend, Maya, of New York. We've made meatballs with Korma for you to try. You can make those - or a delectable stir fry using fall root vegetables atop jasmine rice (and yes, I can find a nice wine to pair with that!) after you try this, one of our favorite sauces of all time!
Next Tuesday, November 2 Tuesday's tasting is like no other we've ever presented before. This tasting of 10 wines! is the brainchild of Brandon, our wine guy and a friend of his who is part of the Proof Wine Collective in California. I myself am looking forward to trying new wines that I've never had a chance to see before. This tasting will be in our usual style - seated and comparative. One wine from France sitting beside a wine from California that is similarly styled by a California winemaker. We'll go through this process 5 times and see just what these California kamikazes are all about! Will they stack up to their French friends? For only $30 + tax/tip you'll be part of a very small few who 'get' to taste these wines. Seating is limited to 20, please call soon, seats are filling!
Wednesday, November 3 - Deadline to sign up is today at 5pm! Join us to have dinner with Paul, the winemaker from Spy Valley in New Zealand! We have a great opportunity to host one of our old favorite wineries that brings in great Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Join us for a 3 course meal for $40 + tax/tip at Corez @ 6:30pm.
