Local author, Matthew Gavin Frank, has written a memoir about his time in - where else? - Barolo! Our great Wealthy Street bookstore, Literary Life, hosts Matthew this Thursday night for a reading and Q&A session on his book! I am bringing some Italian cheese & Italian bread, Literary Life is providing some samples for wine tasting. Join us to reflect (potentially irreverently) on a beautiful region of Italy and food that goes along with!  |

Upcoming Art of the Table events include:
- Blood Into Wine - A movie documenting the zany wine industry in Arizona, led by Maynard James Keenan of the band Tool - and a former student at Kendall College of Art & Design here in our fine city. His movie and a wine tasting will be taking place at the Wealthy Theatre on June 17. More details to come next week!
- Can It! - A Beer Tasting of beers in cans! Beers in cans are hot, I tell ya. We dare you to try them with us!
- Friend and dear German man, Paul Mann will teach us all about amazing wines you can enjoy this summer at our June 9 tasting, Refreshing Whites & Light Reds
- Rose wine is really hot. We will be showing off a good amount of these at our tasting June 10. Not on our event calendar yet, we will probably only charge you $15 and it will be laid back and fun!
