It's not that we didn't have new beer while we weren't writing...we did! It's just amazing, the onslaught that comes through at this time of year, so we couldn't wait to deliver the news of the other new stuff that has arrived to the cooler!
Remember to tell your friends about our cooler - in fact, bring them by! We have fantastic prices and amazing labels and you can always buy just one or mix a 4 or 6!

Brew Dog!

|

We usually make up our own descriptions to go along with
our new beers. In this case, there's no reason to. I can't compete with what this beer is, so I'll let Brew Dog give you the lowdown:
Their statement begins, "We do not merely aspire to the proclaimed heady heights of conformity
through neutrality and blandness." And although we don't have their 41% ABV beer in
stock just yet (It's called "Sink the Bismarck!" and reportedly retails around
$60 for a 330mL bottle!), we have gotten our hands on a mighty hoppy version of
one of Brew Dog's other beers.
This 6%
trans-Atlantic (Scottish) fusion IPA is "light golden in color with
tropical fruits and light caramel on the nose. The palate soon becomes
assertive and resinous with the New Zealand hops balanced by the biscuit malt.
The finish is aggressive and dry with the hops emerging over the warming
alcohol."
Not
many people in the real world discuss IBUs (International Bittering Units) but
in hoppy beers, this is a measure of just HOW hoppy things are. 30-50 are big but they quit measuring after
100...this beer gets 65IBUs. This beer is crazy and stunningly fresh, natural
and extremely flavorful.
