Are you sharing the news with other Girl Scout supporters? Several of you are already involved and others will be contacted as 2011 unfolds. There's so much in store! Check out the latest 100th Anniversary news:

100th Anniversary Event Updates

Girltopia is coming October 29, 2011!

The date for Girltopia is set. Mark your calendar for what is poised to be the largest girl-expo in the nation! Girltopia will take place on October 29, 2011, just days before our founder’s birthday! Save the date, spread the word, and watch for details as plans unfold!

Are you in the GSGLA Green Directory?

You’ve heard of the Yellow Pages and the Blue Book,  well, we’ve created the GSGLA Green Pages! We're collecting the names of 100,000 women in the Greater Los Angeles area who were Girl Scouts. Don't be left out!

Add your name and help us reach our goal. Click here and be counted! Share this email with your friends and the amazing women in your life and tell them to sign up, too. Names will not be published without permission.

GSGLA Tournament of Roses Float for the 2012 Parade

The Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles Tournament of Roses Selection Committee for the 100th Anniversary Float, made up of 14 of the most influential women in Los Angeles, met over the course of the last month to determine who would be GSGLA’s float builder.

After a 3-month process which included a formal RFP (request for proposal), a 3-page in-depth scoring sheet with 39 criteria, and two weeks of builder presentations, the committee is pleased to have selected Fiesta Parade Floats as the builder for our 100th Anniversary float in the 2012 TOR Parade!

Look for further information over the course of the next year on the progress of the float.  We will also post in the coming months information on being part of the float decorating so check the website throughout 2011 for further information.
