More than 30 local business, civic, and community leaders worked alongside school principals during the seventh-annual Principal for a Day program that took place across PUSD campuses on Nov. 8. Coordinated by PEF and sponsored by Merrill Lynch, the event fosters the ever-growing spirit of civic involvement in Pasadena's public schools and forms lasting community partnerships that enrich the quality of education. After the morning event all the participants, as well as city officials and special guests, gathered for a special luncheon at the Altadena Town & Country Club. Jon Basalone, VP Marketing and Merchandising of Trader Joe's, was this year's guest speaker.
