 AREA MOVERS AND SHAKERS HEAD TO THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE FOR ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL DAY OF BRIDGING COMMUNITY WITH SCHOOLS

More than 30 local business, civic, and community leaders worked alongside school principals during the seventh-annual Principal for a Day program that took place across PUSD campuses on Nov. 8.

 

Coordinated by PEF and sponsored by Merrill Lynch, the event fosters the ever-growing spirit of civic involvement in Pasadena's public schools and forms lasting community partnerships that enrich the quality of education.     

 

After the morning event all the participants, as well as city officials and special guests, gathered for a special luncheon at the Altadena Town & Country Club. Jon Basalone, VP Marketing and Merchandising of Trader Joe's, was this year's guest speaker.

DON'T MISS PARADE OF ROSES CEREMONY ON NOVEMBER 19 
Everyone is invited to the Parade of Roses Ceremony at 11 am on Saturday, Nov. 19th. The 2012 Rose Queen and Royal Court will attend to recognize art created by outstanding students. Jodi Taffel, the Meatball Lady from the Disney  Show, Shake It Up!, is guest host; President of the Tournament of Roses Rick Jackson will also be in attendance.

The Parade of Roses takes place at the Paseo Colorado Fountain Court. 
 Entertainment provided by the Wilson Middle School Drum Line and Dance Team! Special appearance by the Pasadena High School Orchesis Dance Team.

El Cholo Café will generously provide refreshments. 90 minutes of validated parking is available.
