PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY IS BIG SUCCESS |
On Oct. 23 more than 30 Pasadena area business executives were matched with PUSD principals to become "Principal for a Day." Thanks to Merrill Lynch for sponsoring the third-annual event, organized by PEF and Partners in Education.
"I commend all the participants for working together towards the goal of a world-class public school system for the future of Pasadena," says Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard. Business and civic leaders spent a half day working on campus with school principals. Superintendent Diaz then spoke to everyone about how lasting partnerships between the Pasadena business community and schools can enrich the quality of education for everyone.
