September 2008
Greetings!
The 2008-09 school year is off to a great start, with many new opportunities to support our Pasadena Unified schools! Make a teacher's year with a gift. PEF has also just launched its new web site that's filled with detailed info about all our programs and opportunities. Visit  www.pasedfoundation.org.

TREASURE TROVE OF BOOKS
Tony Johnston, award-winning children's author of "The Spoon in the Wall" and "The Worm Family," among many others, has donated more than 700 children's books to Franklin, Jackson, and Altadena elementary schools.  Johnston, a former 4th grade teacher, lives in San Marino.
