Greetings!

Every New Year I tend to round the corner of things that *must* get finished to things that I would *like* to get finished.  For example -- I would like to finish a robe for our daughter.... and I would like to begin thinking of spring patterns and sew a dress or skirt for myself.  I would also like to (and maybe this year I will) actually finish piecing our son's Cowboy quilt.  Bless him for being so patient!

So what about you?  What does your Winter sewing after the Holidays look like?

Sewing Days Gone By . . .

Awhile ago, I was asked if I happened to have some pictures or images of women or girls sewing from yesteryear for an article that Oliver + S was featuring on their blog.  I had put the article link on the back burner for an inclusion in one of our Newsletters and then got buried in thread and needles and pins and patterns and well, you know how it goes....

So, if you would like to view some of those antique images from old Singer advertisements, employee handbooks, and the like, then grab a cup of hot tea and enjoy a good read from a fellow seamstress from Australia.

Well, I have lots of sewing to get finished, so I'm going to get back to it.  I've got a couple projects under the needle, plus I'm quilting some fabric & Minky to make a little robe for my SweetPea.  (Yes, of course -- all on my Singer Featherweight!)

Happy Stitching!
