The website is really beginning to blossom with its nice, neat, orderly, new look. Two additional menu options are now available... Fabric & Rick Rack!

A new April 1930's fabric niche includes Reproduction Feedsack prints to coincide with the 1930's theme of the website. As always, FREE SHIPPING within the USA includes fabric and rick rack, too!
April 1930's recently collaborated with Oliver + S, the Children's Pattern Company, by creating a photo tutorial featuring the Swingset Tunic & Skirt Pattern and the unique placket construction. In so doing, a Singer Automatic ZigZagger tutorial and a real-life sewing example of decorative stitching were also created bringing the old SINGER Fashion Aid new life. If you have ever felt anxious about actually using your ZigZagger Attachment, especially on your Singer Featherweight 221 or 222, then this will encourage you to try it!

And, just for reference correlation, you'll find this 1950's SINGER advertising commercial a true classic - it is quite fun to play over and over again.
Summer is here!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
School's out and the old camper trailer has had its first summer voyage!
But, guess what else came along in the ol' camper? If you guessed my Singer Featherweight, you would be correct! Those afternoon camping quiet times are the most relaxing time to do a little sewing.
Happy Summer! |
