Flowers Awake & Springtime's Here

 My flowers are blooming and my daughter has already been quick to pick me some bleeding hearts! I so enjoy spring... the new life, a fresh beginning, the feel of clean air in the house - ahhhhhhhh....
With the onset of spring, we are beginning a new project - a remodeling project that is. That's right, we're cleaning out and redoing our entire basement, which includes one of the supply stock rooms. You will notice our spring cleaning with some fun-loaded box lots available to the highest bidder. They're already packed and ready to ship out.

Portabellopixie Patterns are a new division from Sandi Henderson - the well-known quilter's cotton fabric designer. Her patterns are now available for purchase through April 1930's. On one of the very first spring days I took photographs of the little Portabellopixie Pants I made for my daughter. They are so sweet and feminine - stylish for any little girl!
The new Oliver + S patterns arrived and I've personally had the opportunity to sew each one - the pattern designs and details are my very favorite! The sailboat pants will be made many times for lots of summer wear. And, I will give you one guess which Singer Attachment I used to apply the baby rick rack to the Sailboat Top (click photo below for the answer)!
Well, that just about does it for now. April showers bring May flowers!
