Hello!
Life is unpredictable. It changes rapidly. Our lives can become exhausting from all the chaos and heartache of tough times. Sometimes we find ourselves mourning the loss of loved ones, jobs, or pleasurable activities. Especially when we are courageously taking risks and experiencing learning curves, an openness to life and feelings can make challenging circumstances feel overwhelming. When we experience tough times, all seems wrong. Once we begin to approach our circumstances in a positive light, we will realize that our hard times are necessary to help us grow and evolve to be better people.
Lemons are the tough circumstances people encounter. Most people do not like lemons because they can bring stress and heartache. Lemons can temporarily take away our happy times and make them challenging. Some people avoid making choices that could bring them greater happiness and fulfillment because of the hard work and risk involved. They avoid making lemonade and taking risks in order to keep mistakes and frustrations out of their lives. When this happens, they are choosing to let their lemons leave a lingering sour taste in their lives. They are staying stuck with the status quo. Anything worthwhile involves taking calculated risks, which can bring out our fears and increase our stress levels. Calculated risk-taking is necessary to live a happy and fulfilling life. Making lemonade out of lemons is a choice.
While we have the power to help reduce the number of challenging experiences, it is not possible to live a lemon-free life. Life and people are not perfect. They are complex. We can get our greatest heartaches and frustrations from life and people. Yet, we can get our greatest joys from life and people. This summer make some lemonade; it really can cool you off and quench your thirst.
