Hello!
You can be on a variety of teams throughout the day. Your entire organization is defined as a team, as well as your department, project committee, board of directors, volunteer group, circle of friends, even your family. How does everyone on your team get along? Do they fight for control or avoid conflict at all costs? Perhaps they are resistant to change while others want to live a little and explore the possibilities? The performance and happiness potential of healthy teams and relationships are limitless. Even when a task appears impossible to complete, a healthy team will collaboratively and enthusiastically complete it above expectations. A dysfunctional team will not. With people carrying heavier workloads and greater pressure to multi-task, can you afford to be on a dysfunctional team that does not get the job done or sacrifices quality and respect for team members? Watch Nancy's 2 1/2 minute video to find out what kind of bird you are:

While it is easier to get along with people who are similar to you, teams with different types of people are most effective. Their diverse talents, skills and viewpoints cover more options. The more self-aware individuals are about how and why they respond to different people and situations, the more effectively they can respond and contribute. If you want to eliminate the silos and "us versus them" negative attitudes and conflicts, make the time to get your team members on the same page. It's time to get healthy! It's time to get happy, even at work!
To your flocking together harmoniously,
Nancy
