Hello!
Quite often, when people retire and no longer have their job identification tags and roles, they don't know who they are and how to carry themselves through the later years of life. They may end up feeling bad about themselves and regretful about what they did or did not do. Think about how many years you have left to work? Next, think about how many years you expect to be on this earth? Now, imagine a story about how you want your final chapters to read. Make it a happy ending.
There is the natural progression of success and achievement. It takes time, effort and practice to reach goals and dreams. Once you get started, the tasks get easier, which allows you to get more accomplished. You end up feeling great surges of energy and your confidence builds. Your energy and confidence fuel your passion. Do what's best for you to make yourself happy and fulfilled. Find passionate, kindred spirits. Together, you will be exhilarated and energized by the great support and fun you give each other. You will have an inner drive that gets you up each morning, ready to embrace each experience with confidence and a contagious enthusiasm.
Use the following questions to begin the process of bringing passion into your work or life. Reflect throughout your entire career or life all the times you felt happy and fulfilled. What were you doing? Differentiate your responses between the activities when you felt simple enjoyment and those when you felt fully charged and energized. What core values and needs did these activities fulfill? This awareness will help you determine what could bring you passion now. Your lists will help you decide what you need to bring into your life.

- From the lists above, what activities will I bring into my life?
When you begin living your life according to your unique interests, talents and values, you will do things that are true and necessary for you, regardless of what others or your inner critic may say or do. When you discover and bring out your passion, your world is brighter. You feel happy and see the glass as half full. You possess an inner calm from being true to your authentic self. You are in control of your career and life. You have fun, and you have hope.
To your passion,
Nancy
