Hello,
Are you ready for a fresh start, a new beginning? Now is the most opportune time of the year to bring positive improvements into your professional and personal lives. What new organizational project, customer, promotion, career change, personal activity or relationship would you like in your life this year?
Before you get back into your daily routines, think about what you really couldn't take any longer last year but decided to ignore in hope that it would go away on its own. Or, that it could wait until after the holidays. Chances are if you did not resolve the issue, it will reappear very soon as old patterns resurface with old routines. Do you really want to work and live with that frustrating situation for another year or longer?
You can utilize your power of choice by making decisions that will bring you positive results. Yes, you will most likely have to move out of your comfort zone, which can be challenging but the reward will eventually have made the challenge so worthwhile. For example, when a co-worker or even your boss gives you another "to-do-today" action item, do you consistently say "yes" when you want to say "no" because your workload is already extremely overloaded? Or do you say, "I want to help you. What's your timeline? Here's what's on my plate now (explain). Let's figure out some options to fulfill your request." This collaborative dialogue can bring you and the requestor results; more importantly, it brings you self-respect. Of course, you must use your best judgment to pick and choose your battles. But do utilize your power of choice when you make daily decisions because your choices do determine your lifetime results.
Have the year of your choice,
