Everyone is a customer. The people who purchase
your products and services are your customers. The
employees in your organization who create, produce,
support and sell your products and services are your
customers. The people in your personal worlds are
your customers too. Do you serve each person
with same amount of professionalism, maturity and
respect?
Customers want to do business, work and interact
with people they like and trust.
People Complain
When:
- No one is willing to take responsibility by saying
things like, "That's not my job. I'm not to blame."
- They are being treated with disrespect and
rudeness.
- No one is listening, responding or validating their
thoughts and feelings.
- They are being inconvenienced by wasting
their time, energy and money.
- Promises and commitments are not being
followed through.
- They are not being told the truth.
- The person or organization is not being easy to
interact and do business with.
Interacting with people is very challenging, especially
in our current fast-paced, multi-tasking society.
Developing people skills is extremely complex
because human behavior is situational based on the
person and circumstance. It's
easier to become great task masters. It's not so easy
to make the extra time to provide excellent customer
service. What do you value more, your tasks or your
customers?
To your serving all with respect and appreciation,
