Granite Gorge is gearing up for an exciting 2009/2010
Season with new improvements and new offerings!
For starters, last year's brand new mammoth
snowmaking system took the Gorge's unbeatable
conditions all the way to the top. 55 New lights were
added to light up the top as well. This year, Gorge
snowmakers are standing by and ready to fire away
with our top to bottom 100% fan gun technology
so "come on up"!

Granite Gorge Ski Area's Grand Opening will be Friday
December 18, 2009. The Gorge will hold the Third
Annual Thanksgiving Kick-Off Rail Jam/Movie
Premiere on Thursday
Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2009 from
6-8:30pm.
We have recently made major investments in
snowmaking, lighting, grooming and lifts to bring you
great conditions right here in Keene and Roxbury.
Why spend time and money traveling out of town when
the Gorge has it all right here? Our terrain parks are
known for their quality and diversity. The Granite
Gorge tubing park is the best in New England and is
the only wondercarpet served tubing in New
Hampshire. Our Winter Youth Program nearly
doubled last year due to it's popularity and it's
excellent instructors. Be smart...save the time of
transport and
the cost of gas, and come up to Granite Gorge. We
are easy to get to...but hard to leave.

ATTENTION PARENTS: Winter Youth Program Flyers
will be coming home to students in elementary
schools of SAU 29 and SAU 38 in early October, and
can be viewed on our winter website as well.
You can register by downloading the form from our
website, or contacting us at 358- 5000 or your school,
as each has been given a few registration forms for
those without internet access.
These programs will be 6 WEEK PROGRAM WITH
A
BONUS TICKET to be used after the program
session
is over. Still an AFFORDABLE PROGRAM to help your
child develop skill and confidence as a snow rider.
Both downhill skiing and snowboarding instruction
will be offered.

The Gorge is excited for this year's winter Olympic
Games Prime Time in Canada February 10th-22nd.
U.S.A. Ski Team New Hampshire Members: Jimmy
Cochran from Keene, and Bode Miller from Franconia
will be skiing for Gold! Go USA!!
Skiing, New Hampshire's official state sport.
