Making Ourselves Ready is our building purchase fund-raising emphasis that began on the weekend of February 6/7. We are 'making ourselves ready' for the future God has in store for our church. If you have not pledged and would like to, please contact the church office and ask for Diane. Want to learn more? Click for info.

2020 Vision LogoMariners wants to be a good steward of our environment and is making steps wherever we can to do our part. One of the ways we would like to help is in how much we throw away. So we will be selling reusable green cups for $5.00 for you to fill with coffee each week (currently filled with Peanut M&Ms). We won't need to buy as many paper cups and our waste will be reduced each Sunday.  You can purchase them at the coffee table, the welcome center, or at the church office.  It's a great way to show "Mariner's Cares"!

Club News:  All clubs are on break during the holidays.  Kid'sQuest and Breakout will resume on Wednesday, January 5 and Little Lambs will resume Friday, January 7.

serving our world

Kid'sQuest and
Breakout have joined our church in the 2020 Vision!:
Each club has previously had missions ventures of their own.  But we feel our 2020 Vision is so much a part of who and what Mariners is doing for the next 10 years that even our clubs have joined in.  Surf's Up is sponsoring 6 children that are part of our El Salvador partnership.  We are collecting coins and offerings, preparing gifts, and going to serve upon graduating from 5th grade.

Surf's Up children are involved in other service projects as well!  In addition to the 2020 Vision emphasis, our children have and do serve in local ways by creating gifts for seniors, visiting rest homes, and more.  We are also active in the Operation Christmas Child project which sends shoeboxes filled with gifts to children around the world.

want to join the Surf's Up team?
There are many areas that you could serve in with the children of our church and community.  Some immediate openings are for K-5 small group leader at the 9 or 10:30 service, Surf's Up greeter for both services, nursery team member.  Contact Len if you are interested in these or any other opportunities to serve with children!

Check out the Surf's Up website!
