NEW EXAMPLES OF TREDIS USE

 

Prioritization:   North Carolina DOT is utilizing TREDIS in their Project Prioritization 2.0 process.  A portion of project scoring is based on economic competitiveness as determined by NCDOT staff using TREDIS:   Read More.

 

Corridor Studies:   The Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) has initiated two major corridor planning studies: GTA West Corridor and Niagara-GTA Corridor.   Both are using TREDIS to assess the potential role of transportation in achieving future economic growth.  Read More 

 

High Speed Rail Plan:   The Midwest High Speed Rail Association and Siemens sponsored a study using TREDIS to assess the regional economic impact that would be associated with operating a high speed rail system linking major metropolitan areas to the Chicago region.  Read More.

 

SUBSCRIBER UPDATE  

 

New to the TREDIS family of users is the Land-of-Sky Regional Council and the Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments; both are taking advantage of our new MPO/RPO partner subscription program in conjunction with North Carolina DOT.   

 

We also welcome the University of California, Davis, Urban Land Use and Transportation Center.  The Center is relying on custom TREDIS runs to extend the capabilities of their California state-wide urban land use model (PECAS).
