The course covers the following:
Digital Photography - The Blue Print: the basics of digital photography as it relates to portrait derived case designs, including the necessary equipment and techniques for taking serviceable portraits ready for case simulation, case marketing, and case design. It needn't be ROCKET SCIENCE!
The Tools of the Trade - An in depth look at a "paint by number" approach to smile makeovers using Smile Vision's Templates for Success methodology. Discover why a consistent, reproducible system to select, design and deliver cases enables the practitioner to recommend smile makeovers (and functional rehabs!) without fear of failure.
The Nuts and Bolts of Tooth Preparation - How to choose the right preparations for the case at hand with easy to follow and easy to remember guidelines, with a special emphasis on removing only what is needed to deliver your promise to the patient. Learn the real LOW DOWN on no-prep veneers.
The Simulation Derived Resin Replica Mock Up & Hard/Soft Templates - The crme de la crme of provisionalization systems, allowing the doctor to mimic the final restoration like never before.
Rapid Cementation - Remove the stress from case delivery by using light cure only materials, removing the stress from case delivery. The right luting materials make all the difference.
The Other Veneer - Placing template driven direct composite veneers that amazingly reproduce the mock up. This will allow the practitioner to expand his offerings and options across a wider fee range.
The Over Temp Approach - Freedom to perform full mouth rehabilitation for the worn dentition at one's own pace - even sectionally - using Radica Provisional Coverage.
Most importantly, how to gain the interest of patients that are already in your practice!

The story is told by a "non-boutique" practitioner who had to experience his own "cosmetic growth" before telling his story in enlightening fashion.

Testimonials:
Dear Dr. Goldstein,

Thank you for an excellent cosmetic course last Friday.  I heard you the last time you spoke for SEDA on digital photography, and I knew as soon as I saw your slide on "ADAS" it was going to be good. I took home a wealth of useful information.   It's hard for anyone to compare with Frank Spear's hotel courses, but you're as close as I've experienced in the last several years.  You've obviously put a lot of time and thought into your presentation.  I'll be passing your praise to my colleagues.

Thanks again,

Dear Marty,

Just a note to let you know how much I enjoyed your lecture on
Saturday.  Through the years I've taken many cosmetics courses, and
thought that yours ranked with the best.  It's also nice to know that
us "older" types can still make changes in the way we practice
dentistry.  Keep up the good work.

I'm also looking forward to attending one of your photography courses in
the near future.

Sincerely,
Gary Weller, Connecticut

I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Goldstein's lecture, finding his
straightforward, down-to-earth approach easy to follow and full of
practical guidance.  I appreciated his willingness to share from his
mistakes as well as his successes, giving me insight on how to correct
and avoid similar problems I have run into in my own practice.
Approachable, relaxed - highly recommended!

Dear Marty,

Thanks for a terrific presentation on Aesthetic Zone Treatment Planning.  As you saw for yourself, the evaluations were very positive and reflected a new understanding for parafunctional habits, trauma and correction through aesthetics.  I personally appreciated the hard work and dedication for a top rate power point presentation- the best I've ever seen!

As for your lecture.....

I will say that your preparation and PowerPoint presentation were excellent. Obviously you spent an incredible amount of time, thought and dedication in preparing a full 7 hour lecture. It is obvious it is a labor of love. It is also evident that you really enjoy the level of your clinical skill and have the tools and gift of being comfortable in speaking in order to be a presenter. It is very difficult, almost impossible, to keep an audience entertained/ interested for 7 hours. You managed to maintain a level of interest I have not seen in the Fourth District courses in many years. You interspersed serious talk with personal anecdotes and real wet fingered talk to your listeners. There was a sense that you were aware that you were not only lecturing to provide information, but to also enlighten and entertain for educational purposes. Some of the cases you showed were amazing. The Smile-Vision partnership is really something you took a hold of and have really perfected for your skills. I was especially amazed at the end of the lecture with the Overtemps cases and the injectable composite veneers.....pretty amazing stuff.

Best regards,
Stuart Delman DDS
