Albion College athletic programs will enjoy more flexibility in scheduling practices and the opportunity to compete in the evening starting this fall, and the college could host high school contests in the future as the second phase of facility improvements kicks off with the installation of lights at Sprankle-Sprandel Stadium.

Briton Bash: Happy Birthday, Brit

Almost one year ago, Albion College's first mascot made his appearance at Briton Bash. Since then, Brit has appeared at everything from lunch at Baldwin to alumni events — and all over the world!
This year's Briton Bash will be held Wednesday, September 5 from 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm on the Campus Quadrangle. Join us for a celebration of Brit's first birthday. New and returning students will also have the opportunity to learn more about student organizations.

Albion Awards First Transfer Scholarships
Standout students from Washtenaw and Kellogg community colleges have won the inaugural Distinguished Albion College-Community College Transfer Scholarships. WCC graduate Chelsea Cutright and KCC graduate Christina Khim will attend Albion as full-time students in the fall. The scholarship covers 75% of Albion's tuition for a two-year period.
The Distinguished Transfer Student Scholarships were created as part of Albion's partner relationships with Grand Rapids Community College, Jackson Community College, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Kellogg Community College, Lansing Community College, and Washtenaw Community College.

A Celebration of Albion at Community Day
Albion College's Community Day provides special opportunities for our friends and neighbors to enjoy while they discover all that Albion has to offer.
Join us Saturday, September 8 for a celebration of Albion. The morning will begin with area youth football league games held both on campus from 8 am to 11 am, and at Victory Park starting at 10 am. Following the games, children and adults are invited to come to the Dow Athletic Complex to enjoy a variety of carnival-themed activities from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Brit will be on hand, signing up children ages 2 to 12 for his new Brit Kids Club. The day will culminate with the Albion College football game against Wheaton College at 1 p.m.
