Tuition-Free Day
Albion College celebrates our Founders Day each year on March 23. This year, Founders Day will be celebrated together with our inaugural Tuition-Free Day, an event to educate students about the impact of philanthropy on our campus. Approximately 80% of the cost to educate a student is paid by students. With just 20% of the semester remaining, the rest of the semester is symbolically provided by our donors.
Every year, alumni, parents, community members, and friends of the College give philanthropic donations which support all areas of our College. Not only do donations help us maintain our strong standing in national rankings of the best colleges and universities, they also directly support our students and allow us to fund capital projects. On Tuition-Free Day, students will learn that Albion College is a not-for-profit institution that relies on alumni, parents, friends, and other donors —
