16 days and counting! Yes, in only 16 short days you will all be able to experience the fun, food and fellowship at our 15th Annual St. Pius X Dinner Auction. "Puma-Matata" promises to move to the top of the list as one of our 'bestest' auctions ever. Tickets are going fast so please make sure that you get your table together and send in your checks to reserve the best seats available. Gift cards galore, a trip or two, sporting items, and much more will be there for the right price!
An American Girl doll, Keurig Coffee maker, signed merchandise from the Detroit Red Wings, and Chicago Bears are just a few of the hot items!
There is still a few spots left for advertising ads in this year's auction catalog. If you are interested, please call the school office.Final deadline is Wednesday, February 15.
We are still looking for a few more donations to compliment what we already have. If you would be willing to donate any of the following, please either send it in or call the office.
Sports balls - basketball, football, soccer, baseball
Gift cards - gas, automotive items
Team logo wear - Ohio State, Michigan, Bowling Green, UT, Toledo Mudhens, Toledo Walleye, Cincinnati Reds, etc
Chocolate candy in any size, shape or form

Father Whalen Helps Students Understand the Feast of St. Blaise 
This past Friday as the students entered the building from recess, they were greeted by our pastor, Father Whalen. Father Whalen took time out of his busy day to help us all understand the meaning of the Catholic tradition of throat blessing and then blessed the throats of all of our student to help celebrate the feast of St. Blaise.

Learn how your child with special education needs may be eligible to receive up to $20,000 in tuition and specialized educational services for the 2012/13 school year.
The Catholic Schools Office is hosting two information sessions:

Now: FACTS Financial aid information: available in the school office. You must request this form.
- (not to be confused with the FACTS Tuition Payment Agreement which comes to you April 19, 2012)
March 2: Registration form & registration fee due to hold your spot for 2012-2013. NOTE: Registration Packets will be going home next week.
March 4: School Open House (if we do not have your accepted registration, with reg. fee, your spot may be given away)
March 9, 2012: 4th qtr from 2010-11, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd from 2011-12 qtr service hours due.
March 30, 2012: Deadline to apply for financial aid through FACTS.
- Return your completed worksheet to the school office.
- Mail your FACTS Financial Aid Tax information directly to FACTS by 3/30/12.
- You will be notified by April 19 of any aid available to you.
- This is NOT the FACTS tuition payment registration; this is for financial aid only.
