Halloween Celebration
Tomorrow, October 28, 2011, at 1:45 pm, St. Pius X School will sponsor their annual Halloween Parade. All parents, grandparents, aunt and uncles, friends are invited to come and watch our creative students as they display their costumes to all.
Also, our middle school students have been challenged to come dressed as a word and this word which is significant to their costume will be displayed for all to see. Test you vocabulary skills and our older students try to stump and challenge your word knowledge.
Halloween parties will be held in each of the classrooms at the end of the parade.
All Saint's Day Celebration Just a reminder...St. Pius X School will celebrate the feast of All Saint's will a mass at 8:30 am. Please come and share in this celebration with our students, faculty and staff as we remember our baptismal name sakes and asked for their continual blessings and guidance. Box Tops and Campbell Labels
Grade 2 Wins
Great job St. Pius! As of the end of the first quarter we have sent in $766.40 worth of Box Tops and we will have 3970 points in our Campbell's account. We had 38 students send in box tops and 19 sent in Campbell's labels. Just think what we could do with even more student participation.
The class with the highest combined total was the 2nd grade. They will receive a Jeans Day pass. Kendal Wilson had the highest number of Box Tops and Ben Niedzielski had the highest number of Campbell's labels. They will each receive a goody box.
The start of the second quarter means the start of a new contest. Look for details in the next newsletter.

Please contact Amy Aubry, aaubry@bex.net or 419-535-7672, ext. 228, to confidentially have your family's name added to our tree. Light Up the Night
This Christmas Eve we are hoping to once again display luminaria on the parish grounds. Last year we were able to collect more that 800 milk jugs. Our hope is that these small lights will lead people to our parish in the same way that the Star of Bethlehem led the Wise Men to Our Lord. Save your translucent, gallon, plastic milk jugs - no white or yellow jugs, please - and place them in the box in the Narthex. Be sure to thoroughly rinse them out before you donate. For more information, contact Kevin Foos, 419-535-7672, ext. 226.
