Brewery Banter... 

It looks like 2012 could be the biggest and best year in the history of Muskoka Brewery. A new larger and luscious brew house, a new seasonal beer, an improved selection pack, new packaging additions for Dark Ale, Mad Tom IPA and Summer Weiss, expansion into popular eateries such as Moxie's Classic Grill and Jack Astor's...the list could go on.  

It is already obvious 2012 is going to fly by, so hang on tight, enjoy the ride and viva la Craft Beer revolution.

The construction of the new brewery has been the single largest project ever carried out in the history of Muskoka Brewery. The current location is tightly packed into 11,000 sq ft but the new site will more than triple our footprint. We are going to need bikes or Segways to get around. Plans for a light railway were disappointingly shot down before we could even get and estimate together.

Of course we hired the most amazing people to get this job done and it is all coming together without a single hitch, on time and under budget. Well there's been a few hiccups here or there and maybe one or two additional costs but the people getting it done have been tremendous. Plus it has been an incredible experience watching a giant empty space slowly become the brewery we all deserve.

So in no time at all we will be raising a glass to the hard work put in by all involved. We can't wait to see the first bottles rolling off the line because then we will all know the hard work and investment has been worth it.  

Then we can focus on what we do best - making seriously awesome beer.
