Mad Tom IPA continues to make its mark as it flies off shelves all over Ontario and has become our top seller in 2011. Dry-hopped with Chinook and Centennial hops, this IPA has a vibrant aroma, depth of flavour, and crisp citrusy undertow like no other. So brace yourself, and crack one open for old Mad Tom.

Muskoka Brewery took on a new challenge this year. We rebranded our core look and packaging to reflect the changing landscape in craft beer.

Mike Laba, Marketing Director, spearheaded the rebranding. 

 

"There is such a rich tradition in Muskoka with incredible imagery and history virtually everywhere you turn. We wanted to add some of the iconic stories and visuals to our new packaging. We are marketing not only our brewery, but the Region as well."

 

We wanted to keep the Muskoka vibe, but also wanted to play up our iconic destination - sitting in a Muskoka chair with a beer. A place none of us would rather be."

 

Muskoka Brewery firmly believes in supporting everything local. In early September, we kicked off our "Toast a Farmer event" in Muskoka to celebrate the end of the harvest and to cheer farmers for their hard work. Our greatly anticipated winter seasonal beer Double Chocolate Cranberry Stout is available at select LCBO's and The Beer Store now. This beer was named the Best New December Beer Release in North America in 2010. Be sure to grab a few bottles this season as last year this beer was sold out in just over 90 days. It makes a perfect gift for any one adventurous in their beer journey.

Muskoka Brewery on 13 Taylor Road in Bracebridge is hosting our 2nd annual chili cook-off to raise money for Manna food bank. Please feel free to stop in for a fine collection of chilli and beer from 12-3 p.m. You may even spot us in the Santa Clause Parade!  

 

Winter Beard Launch!  

December 5, 2011 - Toronto.
We kick off the first annual Winter Beard Gala party to launch Double Chocolate Cranberry Stout. The event is being held at the Drake hotel for Winter Beard contest winners, media and our guest list.  Please submit your best beard pic to winterbeard@muskokabrewery.com to qualify.
