JR BANTAMS REMAIN UNBEATEN
Hyacks Jr Bantam squad improved to a perfect 7-0 record, with a 37-17 win over South Delta (previously 5-1). Jamie Shiho led the Hyacks with 3 TDs and a pair of 60 yard runs. Shawn Dhanoa had a number of big hits on defense.
The Pee Wee team continued its late-season surge with a 13-12 win over North Surrey Hawks (previously 5-1). This follows a tie against the top team in the league from Cloverdale last week. SENIORS NIGHT ON FRIDAY
This Friday when the Hyacks take on Notre Dame at Mercer stadium, the program will recognize 15 graduating seniors. The list includes Serafino Gentile, Thomas Tse and Connor Brady, who have been with the Hyacks since Jr Bantam. Other names like Regan Eberding, Jeremy Wilson, Kevin Sabau, Makoto Brennen and Derek Stagner joined the program in JV. In terms of longtime Hyacks, the group is a small one, but filled with plenty of character. The newer players have also provided an important role either in games or practice.

The players and the parent/guardians who have supported them, not just as football players but as students and young men for the past 17 years will also be recognized prior to the game, in what has become a very special tradition in the Hyacks program. Thanks to all of them for their contributions. Parents of the seniors are asked to arrive by 7:15 pm.
New West comes into the game with a 1-1 record in league play (3-3 overall) after losing on Saturday to the defending Subway Bowl champions and #3 ranked, Vancouver College.
