| O H & S | |
With changes to O H & S Legislation due to start on 1st January 2012, car wash owners need to ensure that they have complied fully with the ACWA O H & S system templates available on the ACWA website.
The Association's O H & S Associates, Eastman Lynch, have written an Update (login to the ACWA Members area of the ACWA website) for ACWA members. | |

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS | |
The Fair Work Ombudsman has been circulating the National Vehicle Repair and Maintenance industries, including car washing, about an education and compliance audit campaign starting next February.
ACWA's Industrial Relations Associates have prepared a new edition (login to the ACWA Members area of the ACWA Website) of Workplace Wired for ACWA members, describing the implications of this campaign for your business and what actions, if any, need to be taken to ensure compliance with the required employee entitlements.

| EASY RIDER | |
ACWA Supplier, David Moyns, Ecolab
' I recently rode my (almost vintage) BMW from Melbourne to Mackay to be the best man at my mates' wedding. The round trip was around 6,000 kms, and it was refreshing to be away from phone and emails for a few days. Despite my longing desire to visit all the car washes along the way, the BM seemed to prefer dragging me into all the country pubs along the way !!! '
