Today is a Brand New Day!
  Good morning Friend,

Its Friday!!! Yes my friend, drink your expresso double or a Late on the rocks because the weekend is here!
Its past midnight and I am still up, wanting to tell you that I had a great class today. Actually the professor did not come in today but he sent a pastor who manages a ministry of rehabilitation for addicts. Three guys came with him to share their testimonies, what a blessing. The classical testimony of hitting rock bottom and not having anything else to lose until God turned their lives around. They were transformed into true men of God, no lukewarm type of Christian non-sense but the real deal. One year of brotherly love, discipline, work and fellowship; working hand in hand to change the family too so that the core of the problem can be change and have a better chance of success when they complete the entire year at the center. I have heard similar testimonies in the past, but these men spoke with an authority that I have read about in the Bible but not seen quite so strong.

Last I also watched at a new "film" about Peter and the last supper. This is the story of the last days of Peter in prison before his dead. And I won't tell you all of it, only that there is a part where Peter says that on the last night all of them questioned themselves in disbelieve if it could be them who was going to betray Christ. The role of Peter mentioned that they were insecure of themselves because they were recovered sinners and therefore sin was in their heart and it was possible that any of them could be the traitor. It lead me to think about the doubt that we get in our head about if we are who really God has created us to be. It is a fear of not wanting to let God down despite we know that we are evil and we will do something at one point or another and fail. But Christ already won that battle at the cross. The apostles did not understand at the supper about giving the burden to Christ because they could not yet see the powerful task that Jesus had through His sacrifice. But we know about the cross and the salvation in Christ, so we can bring every burden to Christ and be free, free from condemnation and free from the chains of sin.

Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26
